Hyde Drift Boats are the finest in the industry.  While I haven’t rowed all competitive brands I have rowed a bunch.  Their G4 shoe is tough and slick and helps me go where other boats fear.  The presence of a real chine helps the boat ferry across rivers and around obstacles as a great rowing platform should.  Probably the thing that sticks out about all boats in the Hyde line up to me is the fact “they need no tweaking.”  Every other boat I own or have owned has needed customization, a little here or there, for my use.  These boats are so well thought out, designed and built, they can go straight to the water.
